St. Stephen Catholic School is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a sixth-grade English Language Arts and Middle School Religion teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. We are seeking applicants who are enthusiastic about planning and teaching in a faith-filled educational program. As this is a position that requires religion instruction, you must be Catholic. In addition, we are looking for applicants with teaching experience who are passionate about creating inquiry-based lessons. Familiarity with Understanding by Design, Standards-Based Grading, and classroom technology integration is a plus. Knowledge of the teachings of the Roman Catholic Faith is also essential.
Minimum Qualifications:

Certification or eligible for certification by the Florida State Department of Education (Letter of Eligibility, or current application, with FL DOE ID required)

Teaching experience preferred

Passionate about teaching children in a faith-based community

Highly-skilled communicator
Employment is contingent upon successful competition of a Level II background screening and safe environment training. Salary and benefits are commensurate with the School salary scale and Diocese benefits policy.
