Position Description:The Elementary Assistant Principal is responsible for advancing the mission of the school through implementing and enforcing school regulations and policies; coordinating with elementary teachers to review logistics for student movement and activities to ensure Salesian presence; assisting teachers with developing plans for classroom instruction and implementation/review of curriculum; and working with Student Support to ensure that adequate supports are in place to help foster an environment that is student-centered and focused on outcomes that result in students growing in the love of Christ, joy of knowledge, and the sprit of service. Working with the Principal and Advancement Staff, the AP will communicate information regarding these responsibilities to stakeholders.
Position Qualifications: Actively practicing Catholic; at least 3 years of experience as an elementary school teacher and/or experience as an elementary school administrator; hold or be eligible to hold a degree in Educational Leadership.
