Position: Director of Advancement

Full-Time | Exempt Position
Tampa Catholic High School is seeking a dynamic and mission-driven Director of Advancement to lead and manage all aspects of our advancement program. As the schools chief fundraiser and strategic advancement leader, the Director is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive advancement plan that supports the mission and vision of Tampa Catholic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary fundraiser for Tampa Catholic, overseeing all fundraising initiatives and strategies to grow philanthropic support.
- Develop and execute successful annual giving, major gift, and planned giving programs.
- Build and maintain meaningful relationships with alumni, donors, parents, and the broader Tampa Catholic community.
- Oversee the planning and management of all special events, including the annual benefit golf outing, gala, donor receptions, and other community-building events.
- Engage, organize, and lead parent volunteers in advancement-related initiatives.
- Lead efforts in alumni relations, developing strategies to engage and connect alumni with the school and one another.
- Collaborate with the Principal and key stakeholders to align advancement efforts with school priorities and strategic goals.
- Supervise and develop advancement staff, fostering a collaborative and mission-centered team environment.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of donor records and reporting and oversee the advancement database.
- Serve as a member of the schools Consultative Board and Leadership Team.
Qualifications:
- Passionate advocate for Catholic education with a strong commitment to the mission of Tampa Catholic High School.
- Bachelors degree required; advanced degree or CFRE certification preferred.
- Minimum of five years of progressive experience in development, fundraising, or a related fieldpreferably in an educational or nonprofit setting.
- Proven success in securing major gifts, planned giving, and managing annual campaigns.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and engage diverse constituencies.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience leading volunteers and planning successful fundraising events.
- Proficiency with donor database systems and fundraising technology (e.g., Raisers Edge, DonorPerfect, etc.).
