Job Posting: Full-Time Physical Education Teacher (K-8)
In response to the challenges faced by our community, including the closure of St. John Vianney due to Hurricanes Helene and Milton, the Cathedral School of St. Jude is expanding to accommodate more students. We are excited to announce the creation of two classes at each grade level, offering multiple new teaching and staff opportunities.
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-Time Physical Education Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. This full-time role involves teaching K-8 physical education, developing curriculum aligned with state standards, and fostering students’ growth in faith. Candidates must have a valid Florida Teaching Certification (or eligibility), a Bachelor’s degree, CPR/First Aid certification, and 3 years of teaching experience.
The ideal candidate will create a nurturing environment, use diverse teaching strategies, and possess strong communication skills. They will model Catholic values and support students' faith development. A practicing Catholic is preferred but not required.
