Bishop Larkin Catholic School is excited to announce an opening for a Resource Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Our school, located in Port Richey, FL, is dedicated to providing a nurturing and innovative educational experience for our students in a Christ-centered environment.
Position Overview: The Resource Teacher will have two primary responsibilities:
- Instructional Interventionist: Provide targeted instructional support to students, helping them achieve academic success.
- STREAM Elective Teacher: Lead the STREAM (Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) elective with a focus on engineering, beginning coding and robotics and other creative solutions to real-world problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective instructional intervention strategies.
- Create and deliver engaging STREAM lessons that emphasize engineering, coding, and robotics.
- Utilize technology to enhance learning experiences.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student learning and development.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Education or a related field with a related teaching certification.
- Experiences in engineering, basic coding, and beginning robotics.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with instructional intervention and differentiated instruction.
- Commitment to the mission of Catholic Education.
Requirements:
- Completion of a Level II background check.
- Completion of mandated trainings.
