The Cavco Family of Companies is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team. This position is responsible for ensuring seamless logistics operations, communicating effectively with carriers and stakeholders, and resolving daily shipment problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily shipments, including shuttle coordination, and use production schedules to determine required daily capacity.
- Determine loads using Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and geographic knowledge, coordinate Overage, Shortage, Damage in transit (OS&D), and communicate disposition for OS&D incidents.
- Create and distribute reports, recommending schedule changes based on data analysis.
- Facilitate and resolve issues with road breakdowns, accidents, weather delays, and route exceptions.
- Minimize freight costs by meeting department KPIs, including maximizing truck weights.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of Logistics experience.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
