Maintenance Technician
Full Time – 40 hours per week

The Cedars is looking for a Maintenance Technician, 40hrs per week. The primary purpose of this position is to maintain grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner to assist the needs of the Facilities Department. All duties will be completed in accordance with current Federal, State and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility, and as directed by the Director of Facilities Management, to assure that our community is maintained in a clean, safe and comfortable manner.

Requirements:
- Ability to perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment to include plumbing, and plastering, electrical, carpentry and mechanical skills
- Responds to work order requests for maintenance and repairs of apartments and common areas.
- As needed, light drywall, painting and cleaning may be required.
- Experience in a customer service orientated industry preferred.
- Snow removal may be required
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred 3-5 years’ experience in construction/maintenance.
