Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Monitor guest consumption levels and ensure responsible serving practices are maintained.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods, particularly during banquets or special events.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and health standards to ensure a safe dining experience.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Bartender, fine dining establishment, or similar hospitality setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and payment handling.
- Strong cash handling skills with an understanding of retail math and basic math principles.
- Knowledge of food safety practices within the food industry is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
