Job Summary:
The Cellar & Co., a brand-new bistro and bar opening this spring, is seeking talented and passionate Bartenders to join our team. If you have a love for mixology and a knack for creating memorable guest experiences, we want you! As a Bartender at The Cellar & Co., you’ll be at the heart of our vibrant atmosphere, crafting both classic and innovative cocktails, serving drinks, and engaging with guests in a warm, welcoming environment. We’re looking for individuals who can bring their energy and creativity to our newly established bistro and bar while maintaining the high standards of service that will define our brand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes, as well as crafting specialty cocktails.
• Engage with guests, take drink orders, and make personalized recommendations based on their preferences.
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the bar area, including proper storage of alcohol, garnishes, and equipment.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately using our POS system.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, particularly related to food and beverage handling.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels, performing regular checks, and reporting shortages.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service, particularly when food and drink pairings are involved.
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries, addressing concerns, and creating a memorable experience for each guest.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role, ideally within a bistro, bar, or restaurant setting.
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, mixology techniques, and current beverage trends.
• Comfortable using POS systems for order processing and cash handling.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with a diverse clientele.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to create a fun, friendly, and relaxed atmosphere.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks during busy shifts.
• A passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 30 per week
