We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure that all kitchen tools are organized and stored properly.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients.
- Support the culinary team by bussing tables and clearing away used dishes during peak service times.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met.
- Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen manager promptly.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
Requirements
- Familiarity with food service operations and culinary practices is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to assist colleagues as needed.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds).
