What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Cook position at The Cellar Wine Bistro?
The Cellar Wine Bistro and Reveille Coffee Bar in Lafayette, IN is looking for one part-time line cook/food prep person to work in our unique, family owned coffee shop/wine bar. We are located on 1001 Main St. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and reliable. The hours are approximately: Tuesday - Saturday, 10am to 3:30; Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, 4:30 - 9:30. These hours would ideally be split with one more line chef for a total of approximately 20 hours/week. The total hour can be adjusted depending upon the availability of the right candidate.

- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Chop vegetables, prepare sauces and other food preparation.
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the executive chef
- Be self motivativated and able to work independently
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food
- Stock inventory
- Wash Dishes
Qualifications
- Cooking experience or Back of the House experience preferred
- Able to meet all scheduling commitments
- Food Handler/Serve Safe Certification
- Strong attention to detail
