This growing integrative oncology practice is seeking a full-time medical assistant. We are open Monday through Friday, with no required weekend or evening hours. The ideal candidate will have at least a high school diploma or equivalent, experience working as a medical assistant, be comfortable interacting with others both in person and on the phone, and have an appreciation for integrative medicine.

Primary clinical duties will include communication with patients (both in office and via email/phone), lab draws, and vital signs. Additional office duties will include administering various non-invasive therapies, as well as assisting at the front desk answering phones and greeting patients. This position will also require interaction with vendors, lab companies, and supply companies.

Our patients must have an outstanding experience in our office, and this starts upon their first contact with us. Because the medical assistant is involved in multiple facets of the practice, this position requires the utmost professional who is well-spoken, with excellent clinical and people skills. Being comfortable answering inquiries, and promoting the benefits of our advanced and effective form of medical care, is essential. A high degree of charm and persuasion would be an added plus.

In addition to experience in a medical assistant role, organizational skills as well as comfort using a computer are expected. Because a positive work environment is so important, a happy, cheerful attitude is essential.

Position Overview:

The Center for Advanced Medicine by renowned Integrative Oncologist, Dr. Jonathan Stegall is seeking an experienced Patient Care Coordinator with a background in private pay, private practice settings, and experience in closing high-ticket treatments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing front desk operations, managing patient communications, and ensuring seamless coordination between patients and the practice. This role requires an individual who can manage discovery calls, handle patient financials, facilitate patient consultations, and close high-ticket treatments, while also acting as a patient liaison during their treatment journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Front Desk Leadership: Lead front desk operations with a focus on creating a welcoming environment, ensuring each patient interaction prioritizes service excellence, and promoting overall practice efficiency.

Sales-Driven Discovery Calls: Conduct engaging and persuasive 30-minute discovery calls with potential patients, skillfully communicating the value of integrative cancer care and addressing patient needs, driving them toward commitment.

Patient Financial Advocacy & Management: Advocate for patients by clearly explaining financial plans, including deposit collection and customized weekly payment schedules, ensuring they feel confident and supported through high-value treatment investments.

Closing High-Ticket Treatments: Serve as a trusted advisor and sales expert, confidently presenting personalized treatment plans, overcoming objections, and consistently closing high-ticket treatments while building lasting patient relationships.

HubSpot CRM Sales Management: Leverage HubSpot CRM to track patient journeys, manage follow-ups, and ensure accurate patient data, maximizing opportunities to enhance patient relationships and secure treatment commitments.

QuickBooks Financial Oversight: Manage financial transactions with precision using QuickBooks, ensuring transparent, timely billing and maintaining patient trust throughout their financial journey.

Consultation Sales Support: Collaborate with Dr. Stegall during patient consultations to facilitate seamless discussions, providing support to patients choosing our comprehensive treatment program.

Proactive Follow-Up & Patient Advocacy: Take ownership of patient follow-ups post-consultation, addressing questions with empathy, guiding patients through their care plans, and acting as their advocate throughout the treatment process.

Performance Reporting: Deliver detailed weekly reports on front desk operations, patient interactions, and financial outcomes, using insights to continuously improve patient experience and sales outcomes.

Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a cash-pay, private practice environment.

Skills: Proven ability to close high-ticket treatments and manage financials with ease. Strong organizational and communication skills are a must.

Tech Proficiency: Proficiency in QuickBooks and CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred).

Personality: Strong interpersonal skills, a compassionate attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently.

Patient-Centered Approach: Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality patient care and guidance throughout their treatment journey.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
