What are the responsibilities and job description for the Surgical Tech position at The Center for Ambulatory Surgery?
Our Mountainside physicians and staff at The Center for Ambulatory Surgery are dedicated to providing quality, affordable care to the community in their quest to treat an array of orthopedic, podiatry, urology, plastic surgery, chronic pain, and ear, nose, and throat (ENT) conditions.
Our goal at The Center for Ambulatory Surgery is to provide a team of highly trained surgeons, anesthesiologists, and staff members whose focus is patient safety, comfort, and care.
We are currently searching for Full – Time Surgical Tech. to work Mondays – Fridays who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. Major responsibilities include working in the surgical scrub role in orthopedic, podiatry, pain management, ENT, and urology cases, proper handling of instrumentation, and assisting in room setup for surgical cases.
You must possess an HS school diploma / GED, have completed a surgical scrub tech certification course, and have 1-2 years of operating room experience.
