This position receives a differential added to the base hourly rate, with the differential the pay rate for this position is $17.51 per hour to $18.76.
Some Job Responsibilities:
- Follows day habilitation program activities schedule as set by the Program Supervisor and/or Day Habilitation Coordinator. Follow alternate assignment in case of inclement weather.
- Implements and documents outcomes of each individual’s Day Habilitation program and clinical goals as developed by the Day Habilitation Coordinator and clinical staff.
- Assures safety of the individuals during all site and community based activities, including the protection from neglect/abuse.
- Trains the individuals to interact appropriately with peers, staff, and with persons in the community, and to perform volunteer job tasks to the satisfaction of the staff at the community site.
- Provides the individuals with the necessary training in the area of maintenance and cleanliness of the facility’s work areas and the safe use and care of facility’s equipment.
Job Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid NYS Driver’s License.
- Must be able to sit, stand, lift 50 lbs.
