What are the responsibilities and job description for the Horticulture Therapist position at THE CENTER FOR DISCOVERY INC?
Utilize horticultural-related activities to positively impact the health, wellness and vitality of individuals with complex conditions. Create and implement dynamic, therapeutically based experiences that promote the development of skills. Complete all facets of documentation, from assessment to treatment summary, in order to illustrate both quantitative and qualitative outcomes. Collaborate with other professionals, most directly members of the Integrated Arts team. Design and maintain therapeutic gardens, greenhouses and other outdoor locations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within large teams. Must be flexible and organized.
