The Company: The Center for Discovery is designated as a Center of Excellence in New York State. We serve children and adults with a diverse array of complex disabilities including medical frailties and Autism Spectrum Disorders. The Center offers day and residential school services, adult day habilitation and residential opportunities, as well as out- patient services through the Discovery Health Center. The Position: We’re looking for a Physical Therapist with an energetic, enthusiastic, flexible demeanor.

- Design and implement physical therapy programs to help each individual develop to their fullest potential.
- Use innovative and creative techniques to enhance the function and quality of life of the individuals that we treat.
- Participate as an active member of the trans-disciplinary team involved in the comprehensive intervention program for each individual.
- Instruct and share programmatic information with Center staff as well as other medical professionals

Education: Bachelor /Masters/Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Licensure: Registration or eligibility in the State of New York in accordance with public licensure requirements established by the Education Law for professional practice as a Physical Therapist.
