Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Grants and Foundation Manager, located in Bridgeport, CT. The Grants and Foundation Manager will be responsible for identifying and securing funding opportunities, managing grant proposals, preparing and submitting applications, and maintaining comprehensive records of funding sources. Daily tasks include researching potential funding, developing compelling grant proposals, collaborating with various departments to gather necessary information, and ensuring compliance with grant requirements and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in grant writing, proposal development, and securing funding
- Excellent research, writing, and editing skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with various stakeholders
- Proficiency in maintaining comprehensive records and documentation
- Knowledge of grant compliance and reporting requirements
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience in the non-profit or social services sector is a plus
