Director of Enterprise Resource Planning
Position Summary
The Director of Enterprise Resource Planning will report to the Controller and will serve to support increased capacity with financial systems and enhance utilization of financial software and related fiscal management tools and processes. This position will be responsible for evolving current processes including financial reporting and general ledger integrations, accounts payable and banking synchronization, accounts receivable and billing systems, payroll service systems and general ledger interface, budgeting and forecasting, and development and augmentation of SAGE reporting functions.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Evaluate existing reporting tools for identifying utilization and other alternatives available within SAGE Intacct financial software modules.
- Provide support with development and configuration of new payroll service platform to ensure information tracking and reporting is aligned with SAGE general ledger business rules and chart of accounts structure.
- Assist Accounts Receivable team members with training and building efficiencies with revenue management tasks and information reporting to establish consistency with monthly closing procedures with Millin Pro and best practices
- Provide direct support to the Controller with various tasks relative to any planned or new initiatives for creating procedural efficiencies.
- Partner with the Finance/Accounting and IT functions to define system enhancements including break/fixes, minor enhancements, and larger capital projects
- Design, build and run financial reporting inside Sage Intacct with the input of the Director of FP&A
- Lead configuration and administration of Sage Intacct and associated components/add-ons
- Create and maintain users, roles, permissions, centers and perform updates, integration and configurations
- Develop, test, document, and deploy customizations, custom objects, third-party tools, and new system functionality based on evolving business needs
- Develop and implement basic Sage Intacct solutions to address business requirements and automate processes
- Collaborate with developers and consultants on more complex Sage Intacct implementations, providing business context and requirements
- Stay current on upcoming releases and communicate changes/enhancements to the business
- Act as the technical liaison for third-party vendors (Sage Intacct, Millin Pro, UKG, Floqast, Bills.com and etc.)
- Customize Sage Intacct fields, form layouts, record types, workflows, reports and dashboards
- Research, analyze, and improve performance and stability
- Develop and implement policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure data integrity
- Be able to understand, articulate, and document needed customization, reports and capabilities
- Take a hands-on approach to troubleshooting
- You're a systems thinker—you have a proven track record of turning processes that lack structure into effective, scalable systems
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 4 years of related work experience administering enterprise systems
- 2 years of experience as a Sage Intacct Administrator or Consultant, experience implementing Sage Intacct and other payroll or accounts payable modules is a plus
