Under the supervision of the Chief Executive Officer, the Executive Assistant will play a critical role in optimizing the CEO’s time and effectiveness, acting as a gatekeeper and problem-solver, and managing diversified activities associated with the office of the CEO. Along with the competencies of The Center’s employees, the Executive Assistant will liaise, organize projects, and execute communications with staff, consultants, the Board of Trustees, and other internal/external stakeholders. The Executive Assistant will promote the use of the Nurtured Heart Approach® in all activities with the goal of promoting a safe and comfortable environment for all individuals within the CGE community and within all business relationships.

1.) Perform all duties and demonstrate behaviors and attitudes consistent with the Mission Statement and Core Values of the organization, and the Nurtured Heart Approach©.

2.) Continually participate in building and maintaining positive working relationships through effective communication, performance improvement and teamwork efforts.

3.) Be of good character and reputation; sufficient physical, mental, and emotional health to satisfactorily perform her or his job duties.

4.) Actively participate in safety programs of the organization by identifying potential risks and promoting client safety as well as environmental safety.

5.) Accomplish individual and team goals and objectives established by supervisor based on prior performance evaluation.

6.) Comply with HIPAA guidelines regarding client rights and confidentiality.

7.) Comply with documentation and training set forth by Human Resources.

8.) Actively participate in CGE's clinical research efforts by ensuring accurate and timely reporting for all assessments and evaluations.

· Responsible for supporting the operations of the office of the CEO, while interfacing with key personnel to ensure that projects, targets, and deadlines are proactively addressed.

· Serve as liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and execution of priorities.

· Provide solid administrative support to the CEO including but not limited to calendar management, technical and documentation assistance, meetings coordination, follow-up, room set ups, etc.

· Coordinate and execute external and internal engagements on behalf of the CEO around specific strategic, clinical, and operational matters.

· Work with CEO to prepare agendas for meetings and provide a summary of discussions and action items resulting from each meeting to attendees, with appropriate follow-up.

· Build professional relationships with all tiers of the organization, including management, staff, outside agencies, consultants and other stakeholders.

· Coordinate, execute, and communicate activities in a concise and timely manner within budgetary constraints.

· Assist in managing key business initiatives, tracking progress and ensuring deadlines are met.

· Document and communicate the activities of the office of the CEO to leadership, constituents, media, etc.

· Liaise with the Board of Trustees including but not limited to coordinating meetings/events and documents as directed by the CEO.

· Manage ongoing tracking of the history and talent make-up of the Board of Trustees.

· Assist with and coordinate the authoring, creating and editing of compelling, clear, and concise print, electronic, and online content—with keen focus on accuracy of clinical language, agency history, and social-impact storytelling. All content will have standard, consistent language, and branding.

· Update agency website and/or coordinate updates as needed.

· Coordinate with marketing consultants in the creation and implementation of a strategic plan for The Institute of CGE.

· Work collaboratively with the Chief Training Officer in the development of all associated curriculum, materials, technology and technical needs, and promotional efforts.

· Manage special projects for The Institute and other programs as necessary.

· Coordinate with Research Manager and other internal data providers to obtain and assemble data for use in executive decision-making.

· Exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance including but not limited to strategic project management and stakeholder relationship-building

· Build and maintain strong working relationships with all CGE staff and supervisors.

· Work as a member of a team to establish and maintain a high level of care and respect for, and communication with, community leadership and external customers.

· Work in a consistently professional manner at all times, which includes, but is not limited to, treating all clients, staff, and guests and volunteers with dignity and respect.

· Perform other duties as directed.

· At least 5 years of experience in an executive assistant role.

· Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Public Administration or related field; Master’s Degree preferred.

· Previous experience in a non-profit environment is a plus.

· Team-player outlook. Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities.

· Computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite; DonorPerfect, Constant Contact, WordPress, etc.

· Excellent organizational and analytical skills.

· Solid written and verbal communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 per year
