CIGC seeks an enthusiastic Patient Relations Coordinator to join our team in Rockville, MD.
Your Contributions
Seeking a Patient Relations Coordinator who is highly motivated, positive, and an effective coordinator. It is essential to enjoy working directly with people and providing excellent customer service. The ability to self-motivate and to follow through with projects is a must. The ideal candidate has a sense of accountability, as well as a detail-oriented mindset. Customer service experience is a must. Additionally, organization is a crucial part of the role as the practice has ever-evolving marketing that will require optimization to existing processes.
Major Responsibilities
- Use cloud based medical software to enter new patients into the practice database
- Schedule new patient appointments
- Answer incoming calls pertaining to the physicians’ schedules
- Follow Practice guidelines regarding etiquette and follow up procedures for new patients
- Gather information requested by patients or guide the patient to the best place to obtain the information
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Monitor patient analytics and referral sources
Preferred Experience
We understand that your experience is more than just a list of requirements, so we encourage you to apply even if you don't meet all the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications or Public Relations
- Minimum 2-3 years patient relations or customer service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer focused, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain partnerships
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and can effectively prioritize
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Proficiency in SalesForce is an advantage, but not required
- Experience with NextGen EMR
- Spanish speaking is a plus
