Direct Support Professional -St. Mary's County

TCLE is currently hiring for a new Direct Support Professional/Driver position. This is a dual role. The right candidate will be responsible for transporting and providing a meaningful day for adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities. Individuals who thrive on doing more than one thing and are passionate about helping people are encouraged to apply.

The position includes a daily morning and afternoon transportation route. The remainder of the workday involves fulfilling the role of Direct Support Professional. As a DSP you are a friend and primary support to a person with developmental disabilities. DSP’s may assist someone attend medical appointments, help them go shopping, or have fun by enjoying recreational activities. The goal every day is to help someone live their best life. If asked, you must be able to pass a DOT physical if not already certified. All necessary training, including DOT physical, is provided and paid for by TCLE.
