Primary Medical Advocate – Domestic Violence Family Caseworker - Monday-Friday, 3rd Shift availability from 12am - 8am, remote/on-call, at $25 per shift. Additional Pay of $50 per call-out, or $28.53 per hour, if the call-out exceeds two hours of consecutive time.
The Center for Prevention of Abuse (CFPA) is seeking a passionate and skilled individual to join our team full-time as a Primary Medical Advocate and Domestic Violence Family Caseworker at our main campus in Peoria. Our mission at CFPA is to help all people – women, men, and children, live free from violence and abuse, and this is an important role in helping us create a safe and peaceful community.
The Primary Medical Advocacy and Domestic Violence Family Caseworker will provide 24-hour crisis intervention, advocacy, and referrals to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in area hospitals. They will provide emotional support, agency information and community resources, and assist with shelter operations. They will also maintain accurate and timely documentation of cases and adhere to CFPA’s confidentiality policy. Must be passionate about CFPA’s mission, must work well independently and as a team, and have exceptional soft skills.
Preferred education of bachelor’s degree in education, social work, counseling, or related field.
