Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Orthopedic Physician Assistant at The Center For Sports Orthopaedics. The role will involve providing patient care, assisting in orthopedic surgery, and working closely with the orthopedic team.
Qualifications & Responsibilities
- Orthopedic Surgery and Orthopedics skills
- Conduct patient evaluations, including medical history, physical exams , and imaging reviews
- Assist in diagnosing and treating orthopedic conditions and injuries, including sports-related injuries, joint pain, and fractures
- Assist in surgical procedures
- Provide preoperative and postoperative care, including education and follow-ups
- collaborate with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans
- Perform joint injections, casting, and other office-based procedures
- Experience in orthopedic practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies
