Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Transportation Driver to join our healthcare team. The Transportation Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting patients to and from various locations both local and regional. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
Transport patients to and from various locations within 100-mile radius of facility
Run errands, delivery or drop off for various departments
Ensure patient safety during transport by following established protocols and procedures
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Maintain cleanliness and organization of transport equipment and work area
Adhere to all healthcare facility policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned by Manager
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license
Safe driving record and knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving techniques
Previous experience preferred
CPR Certification or ability to obtain
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols and procedures
Pass DOT Physical
