The Century Bar is seeking a to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our guests while crafting delicious beverages and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your expertise in of food safety and hospitality, will contribute to an unforgettable experience for our patrons.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers.
- Mix and garnish drinks according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including equipment and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling practices.
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Assist with banquet services as needed, providing excellent customer service during events
- Engage with guests, providing recommendations and answering questions about the drink menu.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience in bartending or a related hospitality role is preferred.
- Knowledge of bourbon highly desired.
- Familiarity with POS system or similar cash register systems is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and food handling regulations.
- Excellent math skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards guests and team members.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Pay: $10.70 - $50.00 per hour
