Are you a frontend developer who loves building real products from scratch - before they’re polished, before they’re perfect?
We’re looking for skilled frontend developers to help us develop Recipe Empire - an experimental web platform designed to accelerate the global shift toward sustainable, healthy diets, in line with leading climate science and IPCC-recommended solutions.
Food systems account for nearly one-third of global emissions. Shifting diets is one of the fastest, most feasible ways to mitigate climate change. Recipe Empire aims to make that shift easier, accessible, and community-driven - starting with a platform where people can share plant-forward, culturally diverse, and climate-friendly recipes and food knowledge.
We’ve started development, but we need more builders to move faster and lay a strong technical foundation. You’ll be contributing to the front-end experience that makes the platform usable and engaging.
What You’ll Do
We’re looking for frontend developers who can
Recipe Empire is a project of The Chamber of Us (TCUS), a nonprofit using technology, data, and collaboration to address global challenges in sustainability, education, and health. Recipe Empire is specifically aligned with IPCC-recommended climate solutions to scale the shift toward sustainable diets.
