Are you a UX designer, product designer, or digital researcher who loves working at the early, messy, creative stage of a project - when nothing is polished, but everything is possible?
We’re looking for volunteer designers and product thinkers to help us shape the user experience and journey for Recipe Empire - an experimental platform focused on sustainable food and climate action.
Food systems account for nearly one-third of global emissions. The IPCC and leading climate researchers have identified shifting to sustainable, healthy diets as one of the most feasible, cost-effective ways to mitigate climate change. Recipe Empire aims to support that shift - by making sustainable, plant-forward, culturally diverse recipes and knowledge easy to find, share, and use.
We’re in the early stages of building the platform and need experienced product and UX minds to help shape the experience from the ground up. This is not a visual design gig - it’s about thinking deeply about structure, flow, and usability, and helping us make this platform usable and meaningful.
Where We Need Your Help
We’re looking for volunteers who can
