This is a role within Systems' Manufacturing and Production group. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Perform basic electrical wiring assemblies including electrical components, and (ii) Perform simple fitting and/or mechanical type assembly of parts, sub-assemblies, and related units using a variety of hand tools, power tools, or equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (in descending order of percentage of time required)
* Perform basic electrical wiring assemblies including electrical components
* Perform simple fitting and/or mechanical type assembly of parts, sub-assemblies, and related units using a variety of hand tools, power tools, or equipment
* Perform basic inspection to ensure the product meets specifications and quality standards
* Identify product defects and report on issues to appropriate personnel
* Keep accurate production records/logs etc.
* Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
* Protect Chamberlain Group's and Systems' reputation by keeping information confidential.
* Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
* Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.
