The Charles Town Police Department is seeking qualified applicants to be appointed to the position of Probationary Police Officer. The current salary for this position is $56,061 for a WV certified police officer and $54,694 for an uncertified individual.Applicants with a current West Virginia Law Enforcement Certification are eligible to receive a $10,000 sign-on bonus.Applicants with a current out-of-state Law Enforcement Certification are eligible to receive a $5,000 sign-on bonus.Non-Certified Applicants are eligible to receive a $2,500 sign-on bonus.To be considered for the position, interested persons must : Submit a completed application to the Charles Town Police Department, 661 South George Street, Suite 100, Charles Town, WV, by 5 : 00 p.m. on January 17, 2025.
