We are seeking an organized and proactive Spa and Health Club Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations, maintain service excellence, and optimize productivity within our spa and wellness center. This role involves staff coordination, training, facility upkeep, and ensuring all services and products are delivered at the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Communicate effectively and foster collaboration among all spa team members.
- Coordinate with Spa Concierge staff to ensure optimal schedule and productivity.
- Regularly inspect the spa, fitness center, pool, and patio to maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall ambiance.
- Ensure all required licensing and certifications for therapists, contractors, and new hires are up to date.
- Conduct training on luxury standards, onboarding and ongoing coaching for new and existing staff.
- Participate in spa team meetings to discuss operations, improvements, and goals.
- Provide regular productivity and performance reports to management.
- Works in tandem with Spa Lead to ensure all spa treatment rooms are well-stocked and maintained for efficient daily operations.
- Monitor and manage professional product inventory, including monthly stock assessments.
- Assist in setting and achieving sales targets and revenue goals.
- Offer support in other departments and areas of the hotel or spa as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in hotel or spa management is preferred.
- Ability to lift and move equipment or supplies weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Capable of handling high-pressure situations and making sound decisions.
- Extended periods of standing or walking during busy operational periods.
- Good hearing and communication skills for effective collaboration with staff and guests.
