Broad Function:
The Coordinator of Curriculum and Technology Integration is responsible for the overall management and supervision of curriculum, instruction, and technology integration in the academic program. The Coordinator of Curriculum and Technology Integration works closely with the Education Director in ensuring systematic and high leverage practices ensuring positive outcomes for all students. This individual works closely with the building leadership team and the larger Charlton School leadership team to ensure the effective use of technology across the Ketchum-Grande Memorial School program.
Primary Job Duties:
Ensures the development and implementation of a comprehensive curriculum through the use of a variety of pedagogical strategies including educational technology in alignment with the NYS Standards and high leverage practices
- Collaborates with the Education Director and leadership team to organize ongoing orientation, team meetings, faculty meetings, and staff development opportunities for the faculty and staff
- In conjunction with the Education Director and building leadership, conducts classroom walkthroughs, engaging and leads data analysis in relation to teaching and learning, and provides 1:1/small group coaching
- Supervises the collection of student performance data, behavioral data, and attendance data. Collaboratively works with teachers and support staff to ensure data is effectively used to measure learning and create cycles of continuous improvement.
- Collaborates with the Education Director and faculty to evaluate the overall effectiveness of the academic program by collecting and analyzing data for program improvement
- Reviews and provides feedback for ongoing curriculum development and teachers’ lesson plans
- Manages the adoption and replacement of textbooks, instructional materials, and educational software to ensure that the faculty are provided with the necessary instructional resources within the limits of the academic budget in conjunction with the Education Director
- Troubleshoot hardware/software problems, and assists school personnel in securing supplies for classroom and lab use.
- Serve as liaison between the school staff and the managed service provider to ensure all digital curriculum resources are implemented effectively

- Reports to the Education Director
Work Schedule:
- Full Time 40 hrs.
Salary/Benefits:
- Competitive Salary/Benefits package: $63k -$70k based on education/experience

Criteria:
- Minimum requirements: Master’s degree and NYS teacher certification in the area of curriculum and instruction
- Preferred experience and knowledge in special education and trauma informed care
- Expertise with technology integration in the educational setting
- Strong communication, interpersonal, technology, and presentation skills
- Knowledge and proven expertise in curriculum, curriculum development and high leverage instructional practices
- Extensive knowledge of Google Apps for Education
- Ability to quickly analyze and adapt to new systems and applications
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $63,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
