Responsibilities and Duties
Position Responsibilities:
- Ensure all rental equipment is in good, clean, usable condition before it goes out to the customer.
- Performing preventative maintenance on equipment, diagnosing problems and making necessary repairs prior to the next rental.
- Prepare and stage rental orders to go out for delivery or customer pick up.
- Inspect all rental equipment for damage when it comes back from a customer. Report any damage to Service Manager
- Demonstrate proper equipment use for customer.
- Deliver and demonstrate equipment to customer on the job site.
- Assist in the setup of equipment on the job site as needed.
- Assist in general warehouse operations as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
Job Qualifications:
- Clean driving record
- Ability to maneuver tow behind trailers and equipment – Preferred.
- Ability to operate a fork lift. – Preferred
- Effective at working in team situations.
- Responds well to customer and company needs.
- Works well under pressure
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Customer service oriented.
Skills
- Proficient in maintaining various types of equipment, including farm machinery and heavy machinery.
- Strong understanding of hydraulics and mechanical systems.
- Experience in automotive repair with a focus on diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for effective repairs.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Continued Education/Training:
- In-depth training on the proper use and operation of all equipment offered.
- Working with senior techs on higher level repairs and diagnostics.
- Manufacturer training courses – Traveling to equipment manufactures sites for training.
- Training on operating system for reserving equipment, ordering parts and logging maintenance hours. Performing preventative maintenance on equipment, diagnosing problems and making necessary repairs prior to the next rental.
This role is essential for maintaining the high standards of operational efficiency within our organization, ensuring that all equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for use at all times.
Salary : $25 - $27
