What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller position at The Chateau Girardeau?
Interested in joining the team of a premier continuing care retirement community? Chateau Girardeau is currently seeking qualified applicants for employment in the position of Controller.
This position is responsible for managing the overall accounting function including accounts payable/receivable, billing, general ledger, monthly and annual financial statements, reconciliations, and financial controls.
Other Key Job Responsibilities Include:
- Monitoring cash flow, investments, and banking relations; including cash receipts and disbursements
- Preparing financial forecasts; including annual five-year plan
- Reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts
This is a full-time, salaried position. Expected hours of work are 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Minimum qualification of B.S. in Accounting or Finance plus 5 years’ experience required. Healthcare and/or long-term care financial experience is preferred.
