Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest comfort.
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials, answering any questions regarding food and beverage options.
- Take accurate orders using the Aloha POS system, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Assist with cleaning and resetting tables between guests to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and communication.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with phone etiquette for taking reservations and answering guest inquiries.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is a plus.
- A positive attitude, willingness to help others, and a desire to create memorable experiences for guests are essential traits for success in this role.
