The Chattanooga Marriott Downtown is currently looking to add a barista to our Peet's Coffee Marketplace!
This is a tipped position!
Key Responsibilities include:
- Delivers Engaging Customer Service.
- Welcomes customers to store, engaging with them throughout their store experience.
- Determines customer needs by asking questions and sharing product knowledge.
- Demonstrates that customers come first by serving them with a sense of urgency.
- Delivers Operational Excellence.
- Provides consistent quality in the preparation of drinks and brewing of coffee and tea.
- Participates actively in training to learn new products and continually works to expand product knowledge of coffee and tea.
- Maintains a clean and well-stocked store.
Skills:
- Preparing to open the store.
- Taking orders and ringing up payment.
- Preparing and serving light food and snacks.
- Cleaning work areas, coffee machines, and equipment.
- Keeping track of stock and stocking market throughout shift
- Preparing the store to close.
Prior barista, customer service and hospitality experience is helpful, but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
