Job Summary:
Manage and anticipate the beverage and dining needs of members and guests in the fine dining bar. Maintain order and cleanliness and ensure that the member’s expectations are always met or exceeded.

Job Responsibilities:
- Sets up bar and patio for fine dining service
- Stock wine, beer, liquor and perform side work to ensure speedy service
- Follows all appropriate steps of service
- Provides immediate attention to all members and guest upon arrival to bar
- Greets members by name when able
- Distributes food and wine menus and able to answer questions
- Performs all services needed to enable an excellent dining experience (take orders, suggest/up-sells food and beverage items)
- Places order with kitchen, informs cooks about any special cooking instructions and/or allergies
- Place coursed meals by seat number – host/ladies first
- Check back to ensure member and guest satisfactions; replenishes any needed items
- Removes soiled dishes
- Present dessert menus and provides members with suggestions
- Present the bill
- Keeps bar clean and organized
- Performs clean up and closing duties as assigned by manager
- Attends pre-meal meetings as requested by the Dining Room Manager
- Knowledgeable about breakfast, lunch and dinner menu; knows wine by the glass and specialty cocktails by heart as well is able to suggest and answer questions about all liquor, wine and cocktails
- Turns in signed checks at end of shift
- Thanks members and guest for visiting the club
- Consistently follows all club policies and procedures
- Performs other duties assigned by Beverage Manager
