Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat oral health issues, including conditions affecting teeth, gums, and related areas.
• Perform restorative procedures such as cavity fillings and repairs of fractured teeth.
• Administer anesthetics to ensure patient comfort during treatments.
• Prescribe medications as necessary to support patient care.
• Analyze X-rays to identify potential dental problems.
• Create accurate dental models for appliances like dentures.
• Instruct patients on effective oral hygiene practices and dietary choices that promote dental health.
• Uphold confidentiality and maintain precise records of dental services provided.
• Ensure compliance with infection control policies and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals and enhance patient care.
  
  

Required Skills

• Valid licensure to practice dentistry in New York.
• Strong knowledge of current dental techniques and practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proven organizational and leadership skills.
• Bilingual capabilities, especially in Spanish, are advantageous.
• Proficiency in computer usage is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Dental Medicine program.
• CPR certification is mandatory.
• At least one year of experience in a primary care dental setting is required.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
