Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the food service department, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Manage and supervise culinary staff, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance.
- Develop and implement food safety protocols to maintain compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement of food and beverage supplies.
- Lead training initiatives for staff on culinary techniques, food safety practices, and customer service excellence.
- Create menus that reflect current trends while meeting dietary needs of clients.
- Conduct regular evaluations of team performance, providing constructive feedback and identifying opportunities for professional development.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service management or a similar leadership role within the culinary industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in dietary departments.
- Experience in supervising kitchen staff, including cooks and shift managers.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Familiarity with coffee preparation and service is a plus.
