A beautiful luxury resort in Laguna Beach, CA is looking for a Executive Chef to run their new Japanese Steakhouse concept opening this spring!

Qualifications

  • 10 years of senior culinary management experience
  • Luxury hotel experience a must
  • Expertise in developing and implementing innovative food concepts and menus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead menu development initiatives with the Executive Chef, focusing on culinary innovation, trend alignment, and exceptional food presentation that meets guest preferences.
  • Optimize food and labor costs through recipe costing and adherence to scheduling standards, ensuring financial efficiency.
  • Lead and mentor the culinary team, providing training, professional development, and guidance to chefs and kitchen staff.
