Summary:
We are seeking a creative and passionate Social Media Intern to join our marketing team in the food industry. The intern will be responsible for managing social media channels, creating engaging content, and building an online community around our brand. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing while promoting delicious food products.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create high-quality, engaging content (text, images, videos) for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, etc.).
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and customer inquiries in a timely manner.
- Analyze social media performance using analytics tools and prepare performance reports.
- Stay up to date with social media trends, tools, and best practices in the food industry.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to coordinate campaigns and promotional activities.
- Assist in influencer outreach and partnerships to promote the brand.
- Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends.
- Excellent communication skills and a creative mindset.
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Photography and video editing skills are highly desirable.
- Passion for food and the food industry.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Prior experience managing social media accounts (personal projects or internships).
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics).
