Job Title: Technical Solutions Lead
Overview:
We are seeking a versatile and skilled Technical Solutions Lead to bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution. This role is ideal for a problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic environment, is eager to guide cross-functional teams, and has a knack for simplifying complexity. In addition to troubleshooting production issues and guiding development, this role includes responsibilities for optimizing DevOps processes and ensuring reliable and efficient system operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting and Support:
- Own and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Serve as the go-to technical resource for resolving technical questions across teams.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues.
Technical Specifications and Documentation:
- Write clear and detailed technical specifications that developers can easily implement.
- Collaborate with product managers to translate business needs into actionable technical plans.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of system architecture, integrations, and DevOps workflows.
Development Leadership:
- Act as the internal technical lead and subject matter expert, providing guidance on best practices and architecture.
- Manage relationships with external development teams, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and security protocols.
Hands-on Development:
- Perform small front-end and back-end development tasks as needed.
- Experiment with new tools and technologies to support innovation and efficiency.
DevOps and System Reliability:
- Collaborate with the development and operations teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions for scalable and reliable deployments.
- Monitor cloud environments, databases, and application performance to ensure high availability.
- Establish disaster recovery plans and processes to mitigate system risks.
Product Guidance:
- Collaborate with product managers to identify simpler, more effective solutions to business challenges.
- Provide technical insights during product ideation and planning to ensure feasibility and scalability.
- Educate and empower non-technical stakeholders to make informed decisions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in software development (front-end and back-end), system troubleshooting, and DevOps processes.
- Strong understanding of technical documentation, specification writing, and infrastructure management.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), and automation tools.
- Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Experience managing external development teams and acting as a technical liaison.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
