Chemours is seeking an Environmental Intern to join our Minerals Enterprise team! This position will report directly to the Environmental Manager.
Location : Starke, Florida
Hours : Full-time or part-time schedule, flexible to candidate needs
Term : 3-month assignment between May-August 2024(i.e. 3-month assignment between May-August)
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following :
- Work with staff to conduct environmental field sampling of wastewater, stormwater, and drinking water. Interpret data of field environmental sample results
- Assist with data entry and environmental metrics. Perform weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance inspections and audits
- Assist with tasks for environmental compliance with Federal, State, and Local rules / regulations
- Complete required Environmental, Health and Safety training for the duties and hazards of the position
