Internship Title : Communications Internship (Strategic Communications Team)

Description : This is an academic-long hybrid internship (June 2025 - May 2026) in which the intern will be closely integrated within our Strategic Communications team to create written and visual content to communicate the work of the Trust and its partners.

Strategic Communications Overview

The Strategic Communications team establishes and elevates the Trust brand across key stakeholders. This includes utilizing media relations, social media, storytelling, digital assets, and external events.

Requirements : The Strategic Communications Intern reports to the director of communications, content strategy & narrative change but will support the entire Strategic Communications team. Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong attention to detail are necessary. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. Experience with Canva and digital analytics tools is preferred. Photography skills are a bonus but not required.

Expected Assignments :

The Strategic Communications Intern will assist with writing web stories and other content, scheduling interviews, photo sessions and videotaping, editing PowerPoints, developing social media content, tracking social media and podcast metrics, drafting news releases, and supporting event planning.

Salary : $20.00 / hour

Hours per week : Up to 30 hours per week until September 2024; Up to 21 hours from September 2024 - May 2025 (2 days in office; 1 day remote)

Internship Timeframe : June 2025 - May 2026
