Description
We are currently looking for a Full Time CNDH Employee Special Events Coordinator to join our Health Employee Orientation and Retention Section team located at the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center.
Summary:
Supports program initiatives and independently plans and coordinates employee events and community activities as needed (Hospital week, employee recognition events, in-house events, holiday activities, employee orientation, training for CNDH employees and others as assigned).
- Manages and coordinates special events as assigned
- Oversight of employee awards, retention and recognition activities/events and other platforms
- Serves as a point of contact and works to navigate/direct employees to benefits and other resources available to staff
- Responds to inquiries regarding the organization's services
- Assists in the planning, developing, and promotion of departmental programs in an effort to continually improve service to program participants
- Assists with development of materials and strategies to increase participation in workforce programs and initiatives
- Prepares project plan and identifies needed resources to meet requirements and timeline for delivery of services on-time and under budget
- Acts as liaison between internal and/or external individuals and/or groups
- Serves on and/or facilitates department meetings, conferences, committees, and/or workgroups as assigned
- Assists with orientation, special activities and training on specific procedures, tasks or equipment
- Performs general clerical/administrative support to include but not limited to photocopying, faxing documents, filing, receive, distribution of departmental and company e-mails, prepare and distribute mail, composition and preparation of routine correspondence, drafts narratives, financial, and statistical reports and presentations using computer software applications based on the needs of the department and/or facility
- Creates and submits requisitions according to departmental needs
- Maintains and processes department personnel records, keeping accurate and up-to-date employee information
- Assists with all aspects of travel arrangements
- Coordinates travel arrangements
- May prepare and process travel requests, travel claims and check requests
- May compose and type trip itineraries
- Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types
- Answers questions in a courteous and professional manner
- Partners with internal and external services as needed to ensure appropriate referral is made
- Greets and engages with a smile

- Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities
