We are currently looking for a Part Time 38 Food Clerk to join our Hub Operations team located at the Carl Albert Service Center working 6:00AM-2:30PM - Mo Tu We Th Fr.
Summary:
Greet and assists patrons in the purchasing of items available for sale, accepting cash and change. Prepare items for the cafe on a daily basis
Responsibilities:
- Serve customers in a fast friendly and courteous manner optimizing customer satisfaction
- Responsible for food preparation including, but not limited to: sandwich, smoothie, coffee, and sundae preparation
- Audits register and change box funds by auditing account shortages and overages through process of counting their shift bag down before and after closing out shift
- Counts money to verify amounts and issues receipts for funds received. This includes credit card transactions
- Perform opening and closing duties (preparation and clean up) and side work as assigned
- Clean coolers, freezers and other storage areas as assigned
- Monitors use of First In-First Out (FIFO) in accordance with assigned regulations (i.e., product consumption in proper date order)
- Ensure full compliance with departmental internal controls, policies, procedures and regulations
- Clean and sweep the tables, floors, and walk-in areas by following cleaning checklists provided
- Performs all other duties as assigned

- Count lrg amts of cash by hand / with cash counting machines
- Must be able to operate various kitchen equipment
- Possesses and utilizes intermediate mathematics skills
- Operate point-of-sale terminal
