We are currently looking for a Full Time House Parent to join our Childrens Village Residential team located at the Chickasaw Children's Village .
Summary :
Works in conjunction with other house parents to provide a structured and caring environment for student's grades 1-12, with emphasis on Academic, Social, Cultural, Spiritual, and Physical well-being. Provide live-in / on-site 24 hour presence / supervision to student cottages.

- Maintains general upkeep of work area and maintains a safe environment

- Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics
- Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards
- May provide break coverage for others as assigned
- May augment staff in other areas as needed based on staffing and needs ratio in regularly assigned unit
- Maintain knowledge of and follow all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.
- Provide orientation for new students and ensure all paperwork is complete
- Maintain preparedness and cleanliness of the cottage and living areas
- Maintain daily tasks and chore list for students and ensure completion
- Keep cottage stocked with necessary food and non-food items
- Assist students with school and homework needs
- Enforce structure of student schedules in regards to sleep habits, school, passes and activities
- Provide a structured and disciplined environment devoid of negative intervention methods
- Assist students in learning and developing through daily living skills training
- Ensure all student health and hygiene needs are met and attended to
- May assist grounds and maintenance staff with minor care and maintenance needs
- Provide stable and caring guidance to meet the individual needs of student's emotional and social development
- Prepares weekly reports
- Prepares monthly reports
- Prepares quarterly reports
- All other duties as assigned
