Description
We are currently looking for a Full Time Information Officer to join our Area of Senior Information team located at the Division of Aging.
Summary:
Responsibilities:
- Design collateral materials, including direct mail, ads, magazines, postcards, newsletters, flyers, invitations, and other collateral as needed
- Prepares multimedia content such as press releases, briefs, media advisories, promotions, news articles, event coverage, feature stories and newspaper pages designed to provide meaningful information about Chickasaw Nation programs, services, events, accomplishments or points of view to members of the media and the public
- Monitors assigned areas and maintains communication with contacts within the Chickasaw Nation for new programs, services, events, activities, awards, etc., for opportunities to distribute information to the public
- Conducts necessary research for stories and/or news articles, as approved by proper authority
- Prepares reports as needed or requested
- Creates entertaining and compelling videos, graphics and photography
- Monitors areas within the Chickasaw Nation for news, programs, events, activities, etc. for opportunities to distribute information to the public
- Creates compelling video content that informs the public about the Chickasaw Nation
- Performs all other duties as assigned
- Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types
- Answers questions in a courteous and professional manner
- Partners with internal and external services as needed to ensure appropriate referral is made
