We are currently looking for a Full Time IT Security Analyst to join our IT Security Section team located at the Information Technology working .
Summary:
Responsible for creating and executing IT security strategies and plans to protect computer systems, networks, and data.
Responsibilities:
- Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types

- Partners with internal and external services as needed to ensure appropriate referral is made

- Maintains knowledge of and follows all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.
- Research technological advancements to ensure that security solutions are continuously improved, supported, and aligned with industry and company standards
- Handles IT security events and determines if an actual IT Security incident has occurred
- Reviews, analyzes and escalates security alerts and anomalous events
- Routinely participates in IT Security incident handling and resolution
- Assist with incident response plan root cause analysis
- Provide recommendations for security and compliance practices
- Provide technical consultation, guidance, and assistant to management and business units
- Formally and informally respond to customer and regulatory requests with regards to information security services, mechanisms, and safeguards
- Performs risk analysis on all compliance aspects of operational security
- Work closely with IT and Operations to ensure information systems meet or exceed security requirements; including ensuring that security analysis is well documented and communicated
- Performs all other duties as assigned
