Summary :
Keep written records of legal proceedings by creating verbatim transcripts of speeches, dialogue, legal proceedings, meetings and trials. The verbatim documentation in criminal, civil and other court proceedings require professionals who are highly skilled and trained in court reporting, which usually involves stenography.
Responsibilities :
- Create verbatim transcripts of court proceedings, trial, and meeting using a stenographic
- Document conversations to create legal proof if they must be accessed and verified at a later date
- Ensure complete, accurate, and secure legal records
- Search for information in official record
- Supply judge with snippets from the transcript
- Document all statements in official proceedings
- Use audio equipment to record court proceedings
