Description
We are currently looking for a Full Time Pre-Registration Specialist to join our Pre Registration team located at the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center.
Summary:
Performs pre-registration duties according to Chickasaw Nation eligibility guidelines by direct interaction with the Native American patient population and to identify any third-party resources benefits and update. Verify accuracy of patients Medical Record Chart including demographic information and any documentation required for services.

- Scans documents into software
- Obtains accurate patient information and updates patient charts as needed
- Advises patient of any documentation that will be needed at time of check in
- Refers patients as appropriate for Medicaid and or Medicare eligibility
- Assists patients in filing claims for medical services involving alternate third-party resources
- Determines the eligibility of patients seeking health care
- Performs pre-registration duties when applicable
- Collects and verifies third party Medicare, Medicaid and or Private insurance and obtains appropriate authorization signatures
- Flexibility in cross-training and providing coverage for clinic to clinic
- Performs all other duties as assigned
